to escape the cold of winter in France! Alex and I are going to visit my dad and step-mom. This will be my first time EVER to CR! I can't believe it....
They live 5 minutes from the beach (walking distance) and about 15 minutes to the closest town, Puerto Viejo-
"Puerto Viejo is the largest tourist destination in Costa Rica's small Caribbean coast. Other nearby communities are Cahuita, Cocles, Punta Uva and Manzanillo. The vibe here is laid-back, Caribbean-style with a great diversity of people living here and visiting here." I read that HERE.
**Pictures on this post were found on the internet.
Jeff and I were in Cahuita and Puerto Viejo a hundred years ago--or so it seems now. Probably the early '90s. It was beautiful! I hope you'll enjoy walks in the jungle like we did, amid all that amazing flora and fauna--toucans, giant blue butterflies, howler monkeys--and post lots and lots of photos!
ReplyDeleteCool.. Thanks Aurelia.. I didn't know that! We'll have a great time, I'm sure! Thanks for stopping by and also for leaving a comment...
